Refund & Return Policy

At Diamond Cutter Press, we take great care in producing and shipping our books. Because books and printed materials are easily damaged through handling, reading, moisture, creasing, or improper storage, all sales are generally considered final unless an item arrives physically damaged or there has been an error with your order.

If you have any questions regarding your order, please contact us at info@diamondcutterpress.com.

Physical Books

We do not accept general returns or exchanges for books.

Returns, refunds, or replacements are only considered in cases involving:

  • Physical damage during shipping

  • Incorrect items shipped

  • Significant manufacturing defects

Minor cosmetic imperfections resulting from printing, shipping, or standard handling do not qualify as damage. Slight corner wear, small scuffs, printer variance, or minor shelf wear may occur and are not considered defects.

Books showing signs of use or handling after delivery are not eligible for return or replacement. This includes:

  • Creased spines or covers

  • Bent pages or covers

  • Moisture damage

  • Markings or writing

  • Odors

  • Dirt or staining

  • Any indication the book has been read, used, or improperly stored after delivery

Claims for damaged items must be reported immediately upon receipt and no later than 10 days after delivery. Because books can become damaged after arrival, we are unable to evaluate claims submitted long after delivery.

All damage claims are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact info@diamondcutterpress.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging

Please do not ship books back to Diamond Cutter Press unless specifically instructed to do so.

eBooks & Digital Products

All eBook and digital product sales are final.

If an eBook was purchased accidentally, you may request a refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided the content has not been substantially accessed or downloaded.

Preorders

Preorders may be canceled for a full refund at any time before the item ships.

Once a preorder has shipped, it falls under the standard physical book policy above and is no longer eligible for cancellation or refund except in cases of physical damage or shipping error.

Local Pickup Orders

Orders marked for local pickup in Sedona must be picked up in person or arrangements must be made for someone to pick up the order on your behalf.

Pickup orders will be held for up to one year.

If you forget to pick up your order, please contact us at info@diamondcutterpress.com. We may be able to arrange shipment of your order if you pay the applicable shipping costs.

Event & Conference Sales

All in-person event, retreat, conference, and pop-up bookstore sales are final. If an item is physically damaged, misprinted, or incorrect at the time of purchase, please speak with us during the event or contact us as soon as possible.

Shipping Issues & Lost Packages

If a package appears lost in transit, please contact us as soon as possible.

Lost package claims are handled on a case-by-case basis. We may require:

  • A carrier claim or case number

  • Documentation showing an effort was made to recover the package

We cannot guarantee refunds or replacements for packages marked as successfully delivered by the carrier, especially when delivery confirmation or photo confirmation is provided.

Please choose a secure delivery location. If needed, we recommend shipping to a PO Box, UPS Access Point, or another secure pickup location.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless there has been an error in shipping calculation or fulfillment.

If a shipment is refused or returned due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempt, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping costs required to resend the package.

International Orders

Customers are responsible for all import duties, VAT, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, and any additional charges imposed by their country.

Diamond Cutter Press is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or import regulations.

Orders to Mainland China & Restricted Countries

Diamond Cutter Press complies with applicable international shipping laws and import regulations.

At this time, we do not ship books to Mainland China or to countries where local laws, customs regulations, import restrictions, or other legal requirements prohibit or significantly restrict the shipment of our materials.

If an order is placed using a shipping address in Mainland China or another restricted destination that we are unable to legally fulfill, the order will be canceled and fully refunded.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that imported materials are permitted under the laws and regulations of their destination country.

Policy Abuse

We reserve the right to deny refunds, replacements, or future service in cases of suspected abuse, fraudulent claims, excessive return activity, or behavior inconsistent with the spirit of this policy.

Diamond Cutter Press reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice.

By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms of this Refund & Return Policy.
